Yesterday we came across this helpful wedding budget and estimator resource (thanks to Larry Reeves!) for engaged couples planning their wedding and trying to find a wedding cost calculator: Cost of Wedding allows brides and grooms to get an idea of the average wedding budget range for a wedding in their ZIP code, and to determine wedding expenses. We know that budget calculations and estimators can be one of the most difficult aspects of wedding planning, so we were delighted when we came across this useful tool that can hopefully help take the stress out of budget planning for couples.

Wedding Cost Calculator & Estimator

Here’s an example of the wedding cost estimator calculator result for Boston, MA (02109):

On average, couples that live in or travel to Boston, MA spend between $23,990 and $39,983 total for Average Wedding Cost. This also means that you should expect to pay, on average, 50% to 100%+ more for your wedding when choosing well-experienced wedding professionals, designer labels, popular wedding event locations, unique or custom products and services. The average cost based on wedding expenses of other brides and grooms not wedding vendor prices. Spending and prices can vary widely.

The recommendation for saving budget on your Boston wedding is to investigate all options and choose products and services that best meet your wedding budget.

Here is another example of the wedding budget calculator results for a wedding in Orange County, CA:

Couples that live in or travel to Orange, CA (County) spend between $28,329 and $47,215 on average for their wedding. However, most couples spend between $10,000 – $19,999. The average wedding cost for this is based on the number of wedding guests estimated between 215 and 235. A single guest could add between $151 and $185 to the overall cost of your orange county wedding.

The best way to save money on your Orange County wedding is to control the number of guests.

There is also a Wedding Cost Estimator – simply plug in the number of wedding guests, your wedding type (e.g. casual, green, extravagant), and types of vendors you will have and it will provide you a wedding budget estimate range based on those criteria. Overall this is a pretty simple wedding cost calculator, but it is something that can help you tremendously with your wedding planning.
