SnapKnot would like to welcome one of our newest additions to our Swedesboro, New Jersey photographers! Eric Williams of Pixels2People Photography got into wedding photography by being at the right place at the right time. Here’s more about Pixel2People and their photo-journalistic wedding photos:
1) Tell us a bit about yourself.
At Pixels2People Photography, we are dedicated to providing you with outstanding service and a quality experience. Our process is simple and personal to each individual client. We want you to be as comfortable as possible and will make sure all of your questions are answered.
2) Why did you choose to become a photographer?
I truly believe that the instant gratification from digital photography has indirectly stopped people from printing pictures and displaying them in their homes. Oddly, it is less of a hassle to take a picture and print it compared to twenty years ago. Our photographers pay attention to detail and put an emphasis on capturing the moment when we photograph your wedding. We provide a dual experience; all of our customers get their photos hosted on our password protected online galleries, as well as professional grade prints. We use the highest quality products, while keeping costs low for you. Moreover, we are a tech savvy company that combines the new digital photography experience with the old school tangible memories that you grew up with. Please take the time to visit our sample photo gallery under the Portfolio tab. Clients will notice that every photo we host has the Facebook Like & Share button. This makes your photo sharing hassle free if you want to connect with friends. You will also be able to purchase additional prints and accessories from the site and have your order shipped anywhere in the world
3) How long have you been a photographer?
I have been a photographer for five years, but I have been a wedding photographer for three years.
4) How would you classify your style of photography?
Our photojournalistic style will capture your special day and tell a complete story without the need of any words. In our experience, we noticed that some wedding photographers depend on their gear to create the images that are pieced together to make your final product. We take a different approach to capturing your special day. Pixels2People will capture the real moments as they occur and create beautiful portraits to complement your timeless story. Special interactions, expressions and emotions with family will help complete your wedding album.
5) Who or what are some of your influences on either a personal or professional level?
TWIP podcast and Frederick Van Johnson were influences that drove me to start a photography business.
6) Do you have any good wedding stories?
I actually was at the park taking pictures with my family and I was approached and asked if I could take a picture as a man proposed to his girlfriend. I ended up booking the wedding. I guess I was at the right place at the right time.
7) What’s your preferred type of camera equipment?
We choose to use Canon equipment.
8) What would you recommend for a couple just starting their search for a wedding photographer?
Take your time when selecting your photographer and make sure you understand everything that you are paying for. Always ask to see samples of the prints and books that you will be receiving. Remember, you only get one chance to shoot your wedding, so please look at the total package that each photographer offers you.
9) Any fun personal facts we should know about you?
I do an excellent Cookie Monster imitation.
Don’t Miss Out!
Once the wedding is booked, if the Bride and Groom like us on Facebook (www.facebook.com/pixels2people) and follow us on twitter (@pixels2people) they will receive a 13×19 print of any photo from their wedding and $100 off our $1,250.00 wedding package.
