Your furry friend is a part of your family. You post photos of him or her all over your Facebook and Instagram, and now you are getting married so why not include your pet in your engagement session? Engagement photos with pets are totally special to you, especially if that pet has a huge place in your heart and home.
An engagement session is meant to showcase you and your soon-to-be as well as anything special in your life you may want to include. For many, that is a dog, cat or any other type of furry creature!
We have found some great engagement photos with pets that we want to share that will both melt your heart, and give you some inspiration along the way in case you want to include your furry friend during your upcoming engagement session.
Jerome with Jerome Pollos Photography was lucky enough to photograph the engagement photo with pet sessions for these two couples.
Samantha with Samantha Ong Photography had the pleasure of photographing Yana and Nick during their engagement session. Here is what she had to say about their session.
“Yana & Nick wanted nothing else but to incorporate their adorable dog, Russell for their photoshoot. We shot these fall colors in the heart of downtown Toronto at Roundhouse Park, which was perfect with all the fall colours. Yana & Nick love Russell as their own kid and is very much part of their family. You can totally tell that they are the perfect family when the trio wore matching sweaters! Too cute! We were so happy that he joined in with such energy and co-operation! It was perfect because Yana & Nick really relaxed around Russell and enjoyed themselves during the whole shoot. I’m sure Russell will be very part of their wedding as well!”
Here are the adorable photos from Yana and Nick’s session with their furry pal, Russell!
Kristin with Kristin Griffin Photography took some really fun engagement photos with pets. What a cute idea to use your pet photo as your save-the-date picture?
Here is what Kristin had to say about the engagement session below with Courtney, Joe and their dog, Oscar:
“To Courtney and Joe, their dog, Oscar is part of the family! They picked their wedding venue by choosing a place that would allow Oscar to walk down the aisle, too! Unfortunately, it poured on her wedding day, so many of Courtney’s outdoor shots had to be postponed. We met on a separate day (with Oscar in tow) so we could capture a few more fun shots.”
These photos taken by Michael with Michael Mulvey Photography are so fun and seem as though the couple is just hanging out with their dogs on a typical, beautiful day. Here is what Michael had to say about this session:
“Big Texas skies, the state flower Bluebonnet, great weather, and two furry companions combine for this loving couples shoot with pups. Adding the puppies was a big part of the equation. They are family of course! And they could not imagine not having them at the photo shoot.”
Peggy with Golden Vision Photography took a beautiful engagement photo with pets session in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The amazing background of the landscape and the couple’s dog, created beautiful photos.
Thank you everyone for sharing these amazing engagement photos with pets! Bringing your family pet into your photos will bring wonderful memories for years to come.
