SnapKnot would like to introduce Lindsey Pantaleo Photography, one of our newest additions to our list of Jefferson City, Missouri photographers! Lindsey challenges herself to find beauty and art in everything and takes pride in capturing pure, realistic moments for her clients to look back on. Here is a closer look at Lindsey and her passion for editorial wedding photography:
1) Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am the owner and artist of Lindsey Pantaleo Photography based out of Jefferson City, Missouri. I have been shooting weddings and portraits for 9 years. My business has taken me all over the world and I love to travel and shoot at new locations. I married my high school sweetheart, Nick, after 10 years of dating in 2011. We have two furry daughters named Ellie (Golden Retriever) and Sophie (Corgi). They keep us active and entertained. I feel so blessed to be married to my best friend and our love has made me passionate about sharing and capturing others love stories.
2) Why did you choose to become a photographer?
I attended the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Mo where I majored in Business Management Information Systems. I went on to receive my MBA from MST. My intentions were to work in corporate America, but I realized how passionate I was about photography and art after working 3 years in a company. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs I knew I had the same spirit and wanted to own my own company.
3) How long have you been a photographer?
4) How would you classify your style of photography?
I classify my style of photography as editorial. I like to capture images that are real to people and their relationships. I want my clients to remember all the small details that surrounded a time in their life. A real image can only be matched by the moment itself.
5) Who or what are some of your influences on either a personal or professional level?
My father is my business role model. He opened his real estate company the year I was born. He has a mind that runs constantly with new interesting ideas and concepts. I like to think I am an exact replica. His success has driven me to always strive for more.
6) What’s your preferred type of camera equipment?
7) What would you recommend for a couple just starting their search for a wedding photographer?
I would suggest that couples choose a wedding photographer that matches their personality and style. Furthermore, look for a photographer that values your relationship. I take pride in connecting with all my couples on a personal level. This helps me to understand who they are and what they expect to receive.
8) Any fun personal facts we should know about you?
I am a fitness junkie! When I am not shooting or editing I am running or riding my bike with my husband. I love spending time outdoors.
