Our photography community is well versed in the art of capturing fun, crazy wedding photos. In fact, we’ve featured lots of awesome shots from our photographers throughout time- including our popular “Wedding Whimsy” post and  a wet and wild anniversary session from Shaun King Photography. So its no wonder that some of their most unique images from Trash the Dress photo shoots have been chosen in a special MSN feature!

In it, Halifax photographer, Liam Hennessey explores a new term for our ever-favorite ‘Trash the Dress’ photos. Instead, he thinks that dubbing these playful images ‘Fearless Bridal’ is much more appropriate. Brides are now choosing meaningful themes and locations and really going for it instead of literally ‘trashing’ their dresses with everything from flames to paint and mud.

However you spin it, we’re darn proud of our photographers for capturing images worthy enough to make this list. Here are some of the photos from our SnapKnot community that made the MSN feature, but visit “To Trash or Not to Trash?” to view all of the awesome shots. Better yet, vote for your favorite images, and see how the rest of the photography world feels about some of these outrageous Fearless Bridal or Trash the Dress photo shoots.

“‘Trash the Dress’ just started to sound so destructive,’ says Liam, ‘and the type of shoots became cliché.’ His clients are excited too. “‘Fearless Bridal’ opened up a whole new way to think about the shoots by creating storylines and involving clients in the creative process. Everyone wants to be fearless, not everyone wants to trash a dress.'”
