New York City is such a wonderful place for people to fall in love and in a city with so many opportunities, it is a great place to be. People come from all over to start a new life in the area and there are also plenty of people who grew up there and still call it home today. For Lia and Herminio, this happened to be where they call home and also the place where their love story began. Meeting one another at a young age, you could say it was meant to be. Their friendship eventually turned into romance, and it’s history from there. So after falling in love in New York, they chose to have a Long Island wedding.1 comment

I had the great pleasure to photograph Kim and Josh’s winter wedding on January 16th – they’re not only clients, but good friends (my daughter was their flower girl). I’ve been booked with them and looking forward to their wedding for 2 years! It’s always special when you get to attend a friend’s wedding, but even more so when you get to capture the day for them; as you can see from the images it was a GREAT day! Kim and Josh and all their family and friends had a great time celebrating after the beautiful ceremony with dinner, dancing, toasts and even a version of The Newlywed Game! Congratulations you two!
