Branford Mansion Trash the Dress Session by Caster Creations

A lot of you have seen me posting about my new business venture with Sara Bynum of Sara’s Photography.  So when Danielle contacted me about doing some fun trash-the-dress shots I immediately thought it would be a great opportunity for Two True Photography to shoot something that wasn’t a wedding. Sara and her assistant, Melissa, set up some of their studio lighting at the Branford Mansion on UCONN’s Avery Point campus while I set up and utilized some off-camera lighting techniques I’d learned.  All in all we had a great time and really enjoyed working with Danielle and Dave.    We can’t wait to do something like this again. In addition to weddings, Two True Photography will also be offering engagement sessions, trash-the-dress sessions, and whatever else you might want to try.  Let us know what you have in mind.  We’re open to just about anything. Getting back to Danielle and Dave’s session, here are just a few of my favorite images that I shot that evening.  And shortly I’ll be posting a slideshow of more fun images to the Two True Photography wall.  Hope you all enjoy! Note – Hair & make-up done by the always fabulous Sara Faella Rockett of Sara Faella Artist Designer Stylist.  Find her on facebook http://www.facebook.com/#!/sarafaella

Crystal Lake Golf Club Wedding Photographs by Caster Creations

If a smile is worth 1,000 words then Marie’s must be worth a million!  She looked amazing as she and Pat wed during an outdoor ceremony this month at the Crystal Lake Golf Club in Burriville, Rhode Island.  You might remember seeing the engagement photos I took of Marie & Pat in Wilcox Park as well as their maternity portraits.  They were also the “winners” of the Caster Creations 2010 Photography Contest.  When I reached 500 fans on FB, I chose a lucky couple at random to receive a day of wedding photography.  (I’m now up to 753 fans–so keep spreading the word!)  Thanks to Sara Bynum of Sara’s Photography in Westerly for accompanying me for this beautiful wedding.  I loved the creative favors which were appropriately called “Elly Beans,” named after Marie & Pat’s adorable almost one year-old daughter, who was also the flower girl!  Congratulations Marie & Pat!  I am so happy to have captured so many happy memories from your big day!
