There is something wonderful about a backyard wedding… especially when you choose to have it at a house with a special meaning to you. Whether you have it at yours or a parents backyard, or even at a local venue in your hometown that has a backyard feel to it, you can really make it customized and special just for the two of you!

Taylor and Austin chose to do just that with their romantic backyard wedding in San Diego and the photos from My Twin Lens Photography just turned out stunning!

Here is what photographer Devin with My Twin Lens Photography had to say about the day: “This couple managed to make a perfect wedding on a modest budget. The ceremony venue was their place of worship and the reception was at a friends house. We took photos both at the Leo Carrillo Ranch in Carlsbad and at a local park in Vista. The color themes were mint, grey, gold and white. The whole wedding day was both relaxed and gorgeous. It really was a special wedding.”

We hope you enjoy these amazing photos as much as we do!

Here is a little bit about all the vendors from the bride, Taylor: “Flowers came from San Diego Wholesale Flowers and Bouquets in Carlsbad, a friend helped me get them and put them together. And the dress just came from Davids Bridal. Bridesmaid dresses are from Target’s online bridesmaids dress line called Tevolio. Most the decor at the reception we made or painted ourselves. Cake came from Albertsons Bakery, really good deal! And we had my cousin add all the succulents to the cake for decoration.”
