They say rain on your wedding day is good luck, but waking up to a downpour can be a bit frazzling, especially when September mornings in wine country are known to be warm, not wet! But this bride was unfazed and the backup plan at the Luther Burbank Home and Gardens could not have been lovelier. The clouds began to part and blue skies peaked though just in time for the ceremony, but the lovely redbrick greenhouse was the perfect fit for their 50ish guests. Eileen from Buena Lane Photography captured this intimate greenhouse ceremony in Santa Rosa for Chistian and Rayanna.
After a brief and intimate ceremony, Christian brought around the couple’s restored 1961 Ford Falcon for her closeup and the reception entrance. Their wedding cake managed to make its own grand entrance at the reception.
In a nod to Christian’s French heritage, the couple ordered a croquembouche, a traditional French dessert consisting of eclair-like pastry balls, piled into a cone and bound into a cone-formation with threads of toffee.
