Brian Carter of Pixel That! Photography shared this slideshow of photos he took at a recent LinkedOC event featuring Seth Godin as speaker. LinkedOC is a business networking community in Orange County, CA:no comments
Last Thursday we were fortunate enough to get invited to appear on the
[ b ] School’s Study Hall courtesy of Orange County wedding photographer and [ b ] School founder Becker. SnapKnot Co-founder Reid was on the show, with Mike chiming in via Skype at a couple points during the broadcast. All in all it was a lot of fun for us and we were happy to answer some great questions from the live audience. We’re grateful to everyone who caught some of the show last week!
Over the last couple weeks since WPPI 2010 we’ve been reading a lot of recap posts from around the blogosphere. It’s interesting to read through everyone’s particular take on WPPI in Vegas – so many different people, events, and of course photo ops over the course of the week.2 comments
You can see the side of my head and Reid in the background around 0:28 for a second. 14:59 more fame remaining! (Or do we get 30 minutes of fame because there are 2 of us?)no comments
We had an amazing time at the 30th annual Wedding and Portrait Photographers International convention last week in Las Vegas. It was a valuable experience for us to see how the tradeshow worked for the first time, but most importantly we met so many wonderful wedding photographers who were gracious enough to spend time with us discussing their reactions to SnapKnot, ideas for the site, their photography business, and were cool people in general.5 comments
Scott McNamara recently blogged about his experience at the 2010 Vintage Bridal Show in Portland, Oregon. The show took place at the David Cole Queen Anne Victorian Mansion. It was hosted by Ava Hansen Millinery and AlexSandra’s Vintage Emporium. It sounds like it was a great experience for Scott, who met some friendly vendors and brides-to-be.
James and Kate over at The Feds Studio recently blogged about Inspire Boston 2010. Inspire Boston is a mini-conference for wedding photographers in New England. It looks like a great event and sounds like it was a lot of fun for photographers. The Feds also taught a class at this year’s conference along with Team Yu on “Creative Lighting with Off Camera Strobe.”
