Today we want to showcase an elegant rustic wedding that took place in California at Hanford Ranch Winery in California. The beautiful wedding photos were taken by Adrienne with Oh Snap! Photography and we just love what she had to say about how this couple met and how they incorporated something they love and that means something special to their relationship into their wedding day.
Here is what Adrienne had to say about this couple she had the privilege to photograph on their wedding day:
“Danny and Liz met through Match.com in April 2013. Danny decided to win Liz over with the following smooth line…. “Hey, how’s it going?…” And needless to say, the rest is history! They spent their first date at a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant called Vallejo’s, continuing to get to know each other over several dates. They knew it was destiny when their two dogs met several weeks later and loved (tolerated) each other. On September 7, 2014, Danny ran the Buffalo Stampede 10 mile race in Carmichael, California. He insisted Liz be at the finish line to watch him cross. Little did she know, he was worried more about the ring in his pocket than his finish time.
Danny + Liz decided to have their favorite taco restaurant cater their wedding to mimic the magic of their first date. And rather than having a traditional wedding cake, they decided to split a churro. The handkerchief pictured in the first photo below has also been in Liz’s family for over 100 years.”
We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we do!
