Today we wanted to showcase a goreous wedding in Norway that was photographed by one of our many amazing SnapKnot photographers. Marthe and Andreas had their wedding in Oslo, Norway. The ceremony was held in Ris Kirke and the reception was on beautiful Eckbo.
Benny with OttossonPhoto had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful wedding and here is a bit of what he had to say about the couple and their special day:
“Obviously, it is the couple who are the focus of a wedding day, but when Marthe and Andreas were married in Oslo in August 2015, another person left a strong memory in my mind. And that was the bride’s father.
It is two events that I vividly recall. The first memory I have is when Marthes father comes to the hair studio INCH and saw his beautiful daughter in her wedding dress. The second moment happened much later in the day rather late in the evening. There was high life on the dance floor and the DJ worked hard. Then I saw the bride’s father on the dance floor with his daughter, it was such a special moment. Wonderful memories of a great day.
When I read the following lines from the wedding couple I get stuck by the incredibly warm words about how they felt to have us as photographers and what impact we had on them. Thanks Marthe and Andreas for the great confidence and thanks for a great day.” (You can see what the couple wrote below)!
We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we do!
Here is a bit about what the couple had to say about their wedding day:
“The day was exceptional and certainly the biggest and best experience we’ve ever had. Before the wedding, there was a lot of planning. The week before the wedding, there was a lot that did not go as it should: wedding car we had booked had starting difficulties and we had to switch cars, we had to obtain new DJ last minute. In addition, we had to take dance lessons since it proved to be easier said than done to learn the bridal waltz through youtube. The week before the wedding, in other words was quite hectic. Having said that, everything went as planned on the day. Part of the reason for this was probably that we had such good help of our talented toastmaster, witnesses, talented photographer and others who assisted that we could just enjoy the day. That was amazing!
It’s hard to pick out one or few things during the day that was special because the whole day was so special. One of the things which might be surprised as particularly positive was the actual photography. In advance, we had thought that this was something that certainly would be a bit stressful and tiring. It turned out that we were wrong! It was so nice to get a little bit of alone time together on the way to the place where we were shooting, and being photographed was a cozy experience. We got relaxed, enjoyed a glass of champagne (or two) and was really only enjoying us, while Benny snapped pictures.”
